An AI sales agent that knows when to hand over

The AI sales agent replies to leads in your WhatsApp campaigns using a persona written from your product brief and answers from your playbook. It qualifies interest, records what it learned, and hands the conversation to a person when it is unsure or when the lead asks for a human.

What it does

  • Speaks for the right product. Each campaign gets its own persona written from that product's brief, so it describes what you sell and who it is for accurately.
  • Answers from your playbook. It uses the answers you have given it, rather than making up pricing or features.
  • Qualifies interest. It asks the questions that tell you whether a lead is worth your time, and records what it learned on the lead.
  • Hands over. When it is unsure, or the lead asks for a person, it passes the conversation to your team.

Honest about being an AI

If a lead sincerely asks whether they are talking to a bot, the agent hands the conversation to a person rather than claim to be human. Business buyers notice when something is off, and a lie in the first conversation is a bad start to a relationship.

Set it up

  1. 1Write a clear product brief: what it is, who it is for and the objections buyers raise.
  2. 2Turn on the agent for a campaign. Its persona is written from the brief.
  3. 3Add playbook answers for the questions you hear most.
  4. 4Watch the first conversations in the inbox and take over any that need you.
  5. 5Use sales insights to spot questions the playbook does not cover yet, and add answers.

You stay in control

You can take over any conversation at any moment, and the agent steps back. Leads that show real interest can move through your pipeline and, with CRM sync, become a deal in Atrix CRM with a summary of the conversation attached.

What to put in the playbook

The agent is only as good as what you give it. Start with the questions leads ask in the first two or three messages, and write the answer you would give yourself.

  • What the product does, in one or two sentences a busy owner would understand.
  • Who it suits and who it does not, so the agent can be honest about fit.
  • Answers to the common objections from your product brief, such as price, switching effort or an existing supplier.
  • The next step you want an interested lead to take, such as a call, a demo or a visit.
  • Topics to hand over, such as custom pricing or contract terms, so the agent passes those to a person.

Frequently asked questions

Will the agent pretend to be human?

No. If a lead sincerely asks whether it is a bot, it hands the conversation to a person instead of claiming to be human.

Where do its answers come from?

From the product brief and the playbook you write. When a question falls outside what it knows, it hands over rather than guess.

Can I take over a conversation?

Yes, any conversation, at any time, from the inbox.

Does each product get its own agent?

Each campaign gets a persona written from its product's brief, so a workspace selling two products has agents that talk about the right one.
